JB’s Fish Camp is as much an experience as it is a restaurant. Not only does it serve food, it also offers kayaking, river tours, and they’ll cook your catch for you if you go fishing. It’s located on Highway A1A on the south side of New Smyrna Beach. You can drive there or if you’re already out fishing, roll up in your boat to the dock for some good food, too. The place packs a bar, indoor and outdoor seating, kayak rentals, and paddle board rentals.
Like the name says, the place is also a fish camp. You can see manatees, dolphins and exotic shore birds right off the dock. And if you want to catch your own fresh fish, they sell bait and rent fishing poles, too. They even offer pontoon boat cruises.
On the eating side, the restaurant opens at 11:00 am daily. Happy Hour is 4-6 Monday thru Friday. Spicy Cajun-esque seafood is a signature move for JB’s Fish Camp. In fact, they were among the first places to offer blackened alligator on the menu! They’ve also created their own spice blend for crab and shrimp. If soup is your jam, check out the Southern Style Chowder, gumbo, or oyster stew.
Open 11am-9pm daily
